TRAVELER'S NOTEBOOK & ART JOURNAL SPREADS

Hi there, this last day in October!
I hope you are all doing fine. Cannot believe how fast time flies.
Very windy in the south of Sweden today. Nice to be inside with a tub of vanilla cappuccino.

Got the cute card in the background from a lovely friend last week

When it keeps getting colder I want to help the cute little birds that often visits our garden. Husband put up a feeder on an old toy he found in the shed - worked out great!

He made sure to put it near a big apple tree, so that the tiny birds quickly can hide in there if they need to.
While sitting by the computer I can hear them singing out there - love the happy sound of bird tweet (fågelkvitter)!

Maybe now when it's getting colder more of you find the time to stay inside to create? I know that in Sweden most people really want to be outside when it's warm & sunny. We don' get enough of that up in the North.
It's still nice though as long as the sun is out, the colors of fall are gorgeous.

Did a few journal spreads at night lately.

If you've read my blog before you know I loooove colors!

Rose stamp from Netto. Yellow butterfly die from American brand Wild Rose Studio (bought this in Poland).

Stamps from English PaperArtsy, Eclcctica. Leafy diecuts from German brand Rayher.

Distress inks from Ranger. Stickers from Netto, and from Prima. Tiny ladybird (nyckelpiga) stamp is five years old, came with a craft magazine.

LOVE cats! Cut this one out from a letter that I got from my aunt (I believe she got this stationary from Canada ages ago!). Red flower on the left is a napkin.

I miss my cat Sushi so much it hurts. Been without my beloved friend for almost a year now.

As I've mentioned in other blog posts, nowadays I also like to create in a Travelers Notebook.

Documenting the first year that I bought crafty things, ha ha!

I sure had a hard time being in town without 'dropping' into craft store Panduro!!

If I've still got things from this year of 2010, I try to use them in the spread. Like this golden metallic paper & tape from Tiger.

I'm only on my 2nd TN. First one was a Heidi Swapp, and the flowery one is a Webster's Pages.
Certainly NOT impressed with the inserts from WB. My first insert fell apart when I had not even gotten to the middle! So disappointed. Husband managed to sort of fix it with a staple gun (häftpistol). We also reinforced the 2nd insert (to the right in the pic) before I even started creating in it.

On my way to the shops

Some weeks ago we were in my favourite place No.1, Dubrovnik
Old Town is a magic place, love it so much.

Found these A5 inserts that I will use in a future TN.

From a book store on the main street called Algebra. The tiny Namaste one is an A6 size.

From another book store just outside the city walls called Tisak (= means press in English).

The old city wall

It's 4.40 pm and it's already getting dark outside. We changed the clocks last Saturday night, hate that!

HAPPY CRAFTING to ya' all!
