Måndag igen och snart är hela maj förbi..... Så synd! Älskar denna grönskande tid på året med så många vackra färger.

Sultry and humid weather here in the south of Sweden today, phew!


Har Du varit på Netto nyligen?! Om inte skynda dit!! Var där i förra veckan och jag har aldrig sett så mycket pysselsaker där på en & samma gång! Himlans trevsamt!  😎

Ephemera är toppen till mina art journal spreads - och även till dig som håller på med kort eller scrapbooking. Endast 15 kr för ett sådant här paket med två av varje figur, som hittat!

Gillar verkligen den typen av 'frostiga' gem stones som är till vänster!

Sådana här blommor har Netto haft tidigare i andra färger - och jag köpte då med. Tar dock av 3D-kuddarna, annars blir det alldeles för bulkigt i min art journal!!

Man kan till exempel göra sitt eget glitterpapper (med hjälp av bred dubbelhäftande tejp) till födelsedagskort, etc. Lägg avslutningsvis ett vanligt papper över och dra med falsbenet över de områden som har glitter, så brukar det sitta fast.

Ska snart börja på en undervatten scen i min journal, så vissa av dessa stickers passar finfint.

Behövde ritblock så jag blev inte alls ledsen när jag hittade detta gigantiska för 20 kr!!! Trodde priset var fel så jag kollade det med självscannern och det var faktiskt bara tjugo spänn. Köpte två block. Tjohooooo!!

                                                        

A3 är alltså 42 cm x 29,7 cm.

Jag använder denna typ av papper till bland annat free printables, t ex från Molly Harrison Fantasy Art (som jag nämnt i tidigare bloggar). Denna fantastiska konstnär i Californien bjuder på många underbara magiska printables.

Har färger av dessa markers tidigare, men inte dessa kulörer. Halva priset, YAYNESS! 

Dessa hade butiken för över ett halvår sedan (då jag köpte dem) och de finns nu åter på Netto. Är nöjd med både akvarellpennorna och tuschpennorna med penselspets.

Finns även fina travellers notebooks, 3D stickers med resetema, paket med ord i glassiga glada färger, mm mm. Jag köpte inte allt pyssligt som de hade i min lokala Netto! Kanske det finns något som du 'villhöver'?!

Tyvärr är syrénerna överblommade vid det här laget (bilden tagen 14 maj). 
Loooove the scent of lilacs! Kan stå och lukta länge på dessa vackra!

Det mesta är utklippt från favorittidningen Daphne's Diary

BAM, färgexplosion!! Är så himla kul att blanda färger, och även att doodla (klottra). Använt Posca pennor till det sistnämnda. Blommorna är utklippta från reklamtidningar från olika företag. Återvinning!

Sitter och lyssnar på vacker fågelsång från trädgården i skrivande stund, så glatt och härligt! Har satt ut en glasslåda med vatten, som jag byter dagligen, så att fåglar kan bada där om de vill (det vill vissa!). Har också ett fat med vatten för dem som bara vill dricka. Ser för himla roligt ut när skator eller koltrastar badar i plastlådan, gör mig på glatt humör!

ART JOURNALING & COOL MALTA JOURNALS-TO-BE!

Hi there fellow crafters!
Hope you're feeling great and inspired. Feels like ages ago since I last wrote a blog. For about a week I've had a very sore throat, and at times it has felt like I was about to cough up my lungs! Soooo freaking tired of the irritating dry cough day & night. Been drinking hot tea with honey so heavily it almost came out of my ears!

By the way, if you also have a sore throat or similar, do NOT put the honey into the cup right away. You want the antioxidants in the honey and they're heatsensitive. I always turn off the kettle right before it starts to boil, and then wait for a minute or two before pouring the honey in, to let the hot water cool for a bit. Want to make use of the healthy substances in honey when being ill.

Om du känner dig krasslig och tar till te med honung; häll INTE i honungen direkt i det varma vattnet. Antioxidanterna i honung är värmekänsliga. Jag brukar hugga vattenkokaren innan det börjar koka och väntar sedan ett par minuter innan jag häller i honung. Självfallet vill man ha nytta av näringsämnena i honungen, speciellt när man är sjuk.

If you're visiting Malta these were bought in 183 Merchant Street in central Valletta (a main shopping street). It's on the corner across from the popular outdoor seating place Ginger (where we had many many cappuccinos!).  😊

I'm pretty sure Merchant street is this one!

Yesterday was three years since my husband and I got married! He brought home this lovely bouquet! The most thoughtful person I've met, love him to bits!  💖

Also cutouts from the same 'Garden Mindfulness Colouring book', but this is painted with inexpensive markers from Netto.

This one was in my last blog, but I still didn't like it so I altered it a bit.

LOVELY DD, A BARGAIN, 2 CARDS & A JOURNAL SPREAD

How I love this time of year, May is so beautiful here in the south of Sweden! 😊 I hope you are all doing very well, and that life is treating you nicely.

Enjoying a 'new' cappuccino here next to my computer. On the flight to & from Malta last week, they served delicious Nescafé cappuccino. 
The other day my thoughtful husband found a jar of Nescafé cappuccino powder in a store. Don't know if it's the same as on the flights, but it sure tastes good! Aaaaaah, happiness!!  ☕

Speaking of flights; bought the latest issue of Daphne's Diary just before leaving Sweden, so that I could have a good inspirational read on the flight.

So thankful to Youtuber Umut Rados, who presented this magazine in one of her fantastic craft videos - had never heard of it before (it's been around for many years!).

A while ago I showed you the very cool fashion mindfulness  coloringbook from Netto,  here!
Yesterday I went out for a ride on my bike - and ended up at Netto, hehe he...! Now they're having the coloring books at a reduced price, so I only paid 29,40 kronor for this garden theme one!!

Wanted lots of big flowers, they come in handy in my art journals. Will use this particular book to cut out images (the fashion themed images I'll scan instead).

Last night my husband & I were watching 'House of Cards' on Netflix, so I got right to "work". Sooo much fun!
(By the way, is there any mentally healthy character at all in House of C?! I sure can't find any!!).

From Valletta, last weekend

Been crafting a bit since I got back from Malta last Sunday.

Viva Decor facetten-lack (croco crackling colour), metallic bronze. Wall with plaster-stamp from LeCreaDesign (I bought it in Davona in Prague)

"Wiser" - oh I wish!!

Don't know how many times I wanted to through this one out the window (or cut it up in pieces!)!! Was for a challenge with several prompts. 
Anyways, bought the rub-on sunflower image with frame on Malta (as displayed in my blog from Monday). Fortunately I bought more of these, since they were on sale (so in the future I could use it on a piece that I actually really like!).

Bit of a experiment here, wanted to test priming with white acrylic paint instead of gesso, to see the difference. Fun trying new things, but I'll probably stick with gesso!  
Fairy die is from Sizzix Thinlits. Drove me nuts, before I put waxed paper in it - now it works excellent.
